The Story of My Molly O'Heart

Molly was a sweet girl. She loved babies and was even known to take a few lucky children for "pony rides". She had a huge presence that filled the room with warm mellow feeling. As you can probably see, I am a big animal lover. And when it comes to dogs, I love "big" dogs most. Molly was big even for an Irish Wolfhound-she weighed in at 208 pounds! We were fortunate to be her friends for over six years.

When she died in my arms, it was a gut wrenching experience. To make matters worse, her painful death was most likely preventable and caused by her exposure to or ingestion of household cleaning products--everything else was ruled out.

An Agonizing Decision

I agonized over what I might have done to prevent this tragedy. In that moment I committed myself to helping save others from the pain that I felt.

I needed a way to help people get rid of all the poisonous toxic chemicals that filled every corner of their house in the form of regular store-bought cleaning products. I needed to find away to get these dangerous things out of their homes and keep them out. A way to make their homes a much more safe and healthy place to live for them and their pets.

The Birth of a Dream

In order to accomplish this goal, I would need to find a way to do several things:
  1. Rid their home of every dangerous and toxic cleaning product
  2. Educate families about how important it is to protect ourselves, our children and our pets from these harmful products
  3. Replace them with safe and healthy alternative cleaners
With these goals in mind, I created the Safe & Home Makeover.

One Home At a Time

Each month we select a family to receive a Safe & Healthy Home Makeover. This family receives the gift of a safer healthier home and pledges to remove all their toxic home cleaning products and keep their home "Safe & Healthy" for at least a year.

Each family receives safe & healthy cleaning products that are guaranteed 100% non-toxic. They replace over $3,400 worth of questionable store-bought cleaning products.

We believe that your home should be the safest place on earth.
